Mother Earth to her Children
Listen, my children, listen to me
Each of you was born, crafted from earth
Bound to the land, sea, and sky
And from the moment yuo drew your first breath
You were free
Never to kneel before your brother
And call him master
For you were both crafted of the same earth.

In the build up to International Human Rights Day on 10 December, we will be sharing some great Human Rights education resources and materials, in order to spread the word and awareness as far as possible! Your rights are yours, to use and enforce, and are also universal, helping to ensure that all humanity has the same opportunities and equality.Know your rights, know how to protect them and how to make sure that they are upheld and celebrated, not abused, ignored or removed. Educate others, share the knowledge and awareness, so that we will achieve the dream on one day having a world where we are all equal, happy, and living according to our fundamenal rights.
Look here, on the United Nations website, for an official list of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, or for one here in plain language.
Is freedom something that's so sweet?
Is it a word that makes your mother
Cry with joy or makes your father get to his knees
And say what Martin Luther King said:
Free at last! Free at last! Thank God LAmighty
We're free at last!
